First and foremost, if you haven’t tried granola butter, you’re sincerely missing out. It’s nut-free, packed with healthy fats, and all of the flavor.
Secondly, I had the honor of sitting down to chat with Ali Bonar behind @avokween and the co-founder of Kween granola butter.
In this episode, we dive deep into relevant topics floating around the wellness industry, as well as address what happens when a fixation on health goes too far. On top of that, we examine how people-pleasing can affect just about everything we do in life – and what we can do to change our behavior.
Ali Bonar is CEO and Co-Founder of Kween, a San Diego-based food company that makes Granola Butter: the world’s first spreadable granola. While studying nutrition at UC Berkeley, Ali developed an eating disorder — and started her Instagram account @avokween to document her recovery and journey to self-love.
Ali resides in San Diego with her boyfriend and ball of fluff, Squishy.

Whether you have 3 minutes or an hour a day, incorporating a simple self-care routine into your daily life has the power to bring satisfaction and joy back into your life.
You won’t find joy at the bottom of an ice cream pint or yet another pair of shoes; instead, real happiness starts with taking care of YOU and your needs. You’re worthy of caring for yourself.
