I was first introduced to Zeel in 2012 when I was working in New York City in corporate fashion. Zeel therapists came to our office to provide free 10-minute massages to employees. At the time, I remember thinking what an incredibly smart and convenient concept mobile massage was and, of course, enjoyed every second of my complimentary relaxation.
Booking a massage through Zeel is super simple and quick. In fact, depending on where you live, you can connect with a therapist in as little as one hour.
You can choose to book your massage experience either online via the Zeel website or through the Zeel app.
From there, all that’s left to do is:
Both the website and app are very user-friendly, and I was able to access my Zeel account from five years ago to book my massage. That made my booking process that much smoother!
For new users, you’ll be asked to verify your identity and cell phone number for security purposes, but that process doesn’t take more than a minute at most.
Thankfully, there’s not much that needs to be done to prep your space for a Zeel massage.
For table massages, Zeel requests that you provide:

For my treatment, I opted to receive a 60-minute prenatal massage.
I’ve had a lot of massages in my life, ranging from high-end resorts to chair massages on the streets of Thailand. After my massage with Zeel, I can confidently tell you that the therapist I matched with provided a top-notch, spa-like massage that left me feeling less tense and eased my aching muscles (did I mention I’m eight months pregnant?!).
My therapist was considerate and compassionate when it came to my unique requirements with pregnancy and took the extra time to ensure I was comfortable throughout the session. She even brought extra pillows and music to enhance the experience.

Of course, the quality of the therapists falls at the top of the list of things I love about Zeel.
Something else I really love is the work Zeel does upfront to make sure their clients feel safe with their matched therapists.
According to Zeel, “Massage therapists in the Zeel network are all licensed, insured, and experienced. After you book you get a confirmation with your massage therapist’s full name, photo, bio, and massage license number so you know exactly who’s coming to the door. To add a layer of security for in-home massage therapists, customers are required to verify their ID before booking their first appointment. We take this extra step through third-party identity verification companies, and not with social media since social media can be easily spoofed.”
Also, because I don’t live in a major city, I was worried there wouldn’t be therapists in my area. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case! Zeel has a large network of professionals serving many zip codes.
There really isn’t much that comes to mind, but if I had to be extra particular, I’d love to see some improvements in the app experience because, at times, it feels difficult to navigate.
For example, when I click on “pricing” at the bottom of the screen and am prompted to put in my zip code it’s almost impossible to navigate back to the home screen without closing out the app entirely.
