Over the years, I’ve become increasingly aware of what I choose to consume, especially when it comes to medicine. Hilma herbal remedies have expanded my all-natural medicine cabinet.
If you met me ten years ago, you wouldn’t recognize me. I’ve gone from taking Gas X after every meal and ZZZ Quil every night to sleep to opting for essential oils and alternative options for common ailments. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I discovered Hilma to add to my all-natural medicine cabinet.
Note: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your doctor before starting any new medications or supplements.

What is Hilma?
Hilma was born out of the need to update the products we use when we’re not feeling our best. Today, the modern consumer is aware of the toxic chemicals and ingredients in their food supply and cleaning products, but the medicine cabinet is often overlooked. Hilma is out to change that.
After two years of research, assembling a world-class team of scientists, and kicking off three clinical studies, Hilma is here.Hilma Co-Founders, About Hilma
What I appreciate about Hilma is the level of testing and transparency that is poured into each product. From the Hilma website, “when we looked for the products we wanted, we found that the natural options weren’t backed by science. And the products backed by science didn’t hold up to our clean label standards.” That’s when Hilma was born.
What products does Hilma offer?
As of writing this article, Hilma offers four targeted products. Personally, I love this small product line. It feels approachable and not too overwhelming to switch out a traditional medicine for a Hilma product one-by-one.
Here are Hilma’s current offerings:
- Immune support
- Tension relief (think head pressure, ya know?)
- Upset stomach relief
- Indoor/outdoor support
As you can see, the names for their products are straightforward and easy-to-understand. There are no flowery or confusing names that can cause you to pause and wonder, “what the heck am I supposed to use this for again?”
Check out my more in-depth reviews of three of Hilma’s products below. I haven’t had a chance to try out the Indoor/Outdoor Support yet, but it could be a great option for those struggling with seasonal threats.
Hilma immune support review
In this wild and unprecedented time (if I had a dollar for every time I heard that…), we could all use some more immune support. While there are natural ways to boost your immune system through a well-rounded diet, physical activity, and adequate rest, a boost of tailored clinical herbs is the extra protection needed right now.
Inside the travel-friendly packets, you’ll find six powerful and clinically-proven ingredients including:
- Vitamin C
- Ivy leaf extract
What I love about Hilma’s immune support: it’s free from artificial dyes and has less than one gram of sugar (compared to 6g of sugar from that other bright orange packet).

Hilma tension relief review
Unfortunately, as someone who is all too familiar with migraines, I’m constantly searching for natural remedies to combat head tension. In addition to my tried-and-true essential oil blend, I’ve found that Hilma’s tension relief formula is a powerful addition to my medicine cabinet.
What I love about Hilma’s tension relief blend: the ingredients are on-point and I love the addition of Boswellia (aka frankincense). It’s so nice to have another product to turn to when I’m feeling like my head is going to explode.
Hilma upset stomach review
While I haven’t personally tried Hilma’s upset stomach relief, I’ve heard really great things from a very trusted source. How, do you ask? Well, my mom stole the bottle from me before I had a chance to try it, and now it’s halfway across the country with her.
She is someone that experiences acid-based episodes (catch my drift?) after eating certain foods, often causing stomach discomfort for hours. She now swears by the Hilma upset stomach relief.
Inside this bottle, you’ll find herbs to support digestion such as chamomile, ginger, artichoke leaf extract, and marshmallow root. You’ll find no dyes, fillers, or questionable ingredients. Thank you, more, please.
Hilma is backed by science (and then some)
While many choose more natural options for all the things these days, there are still some skeptics out there (and that’s okay!). I hope by sharing the below results from Hilma’s clinical studies, you can see the power of Hilma for yourself.
Pretty astounding results, huh? I’m particularly blown away by the results of the upset stomach relief. What a game-changer!
What I love about Hilma
Where do I start? For one, I love how transparent Himla is about the science behind their products. It’s refreshing to see a company not only make bold claims but have the science and knowledge to back up and prove their statements.
Also, the top-notch and carefully-selected ingredients are all non-GMO, and Clean Label Project certified. As a new mom, it’s critical that what I’m consuming is as natural and effective as possible, and Hilma delivers.
