ABOUT THIS DAIRY-FREE GARLIC MASHED POTATOES RECIPE

While mashed potatoes are a Thanksgiving classic, they can be enjoyed at any time of the year. These dairy-free garlic mashed potatoes are the perfect addition to any meal and are simple enough to whip up on a moment’s notice.

FROM JESSICA, ONLINE NUTRITIONIST AT TASTE OF HEALTH

One secret behind these dairy-free garlic mashed potatoes is using red potatoes instead of the russet variety. Red potatoes taste a touch sweeter, and leaving the skin on adds extra texture, flavor, and color.

Speaking of garlic, it isn’t just a flavor powerhouse. It’s also an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and proven to help blood pressure, reduce the likelihood of catching the common cold, and support a healthy digestive system. So while this recipe calls for six cloves of garlic, adding more can only do a body good. Let your taste buds be your guide!
